Personally I've never used the back,forward, up, refresh in the context menu, 
I mostly use the key-board shortcuts.

As for most normal users I've encountered (my job involved teaching a computer 
course to schoolteachers last year -a different group of 6-12 each week for 
about 7 months) most don't know that there is context menu, and except for 
one or two (who used a lot of keyboard shortcuts) they always preferred  
using the toolbar and menu.
