I understand that large menus might be cumbersome, but I personally was
confused, when the shred action was removed from the context menu. I thought
it had been removed from konqueror and only found its shortcut by accident.

Perhaps you could change the name of the menuitem depending on the
configuration? That way "Delete" will mean delete, and "Shred" will mean
shred, rather than different things depending on configuration.

Actually, I use both "Delete" and "Move to Trash" often, so I would miss their
individual shortcuts. Right now I am being warned, if I want to delete, but
not when moving a file. I would miss that feature if there was only a global
setting for all of them.

I wonder if it would make sense to make (context) menus configurable like
toolbars. That way the default could have very few commands, but advanced
users can taylor them to their liking. Then again, maybe it's overkill.
