Yes, I completely agree. I think just "show previews"
would be fine for the menu.

I also think we ought to separate out sound previews.
These are rather different from the user perspective -
they are only activated on mouseover.

So the new version would have:
- a menu item in "view" called "show/hide previews"
which turned visual previews on and off
- a configuration setting for exactly which visual
previews to show
- a configuration setting for playing sound files on
mouseover

Not quite sure where video previews come into this, or
even if they work yet.

The XML file... yeah, it's pretty unusable for a
usability report LOL. Just edit it in kate and strip
the XML tags off if you want. We'll keep the original
as is. (Although I don't really know the rationale for
it being XML)
