No, I see this behaviour as well on my Debian KDE 3.1.2 and Qt 3.1.2. I 
believe this has been reported as a bug to KDE and was found to be a bug in 
the Qt ListView class. I think it has been fixed in KDE CVS and the fix sent 
upstream to Trolltech.
