How about instead of just "Quit" to exit the application, why not put
the name of the application that is running into the menu item ("Quit
kmail" or "Quit kate" or use the more English name "Quit KDE Advanced
Text Editor")? That way it will be a bit more clear for users that
"Quit" actually closes the application, and takes all of its active
windows with it.

Also, maybe a changing of the wording would help. Perhaps "Exit" or
"Finished With" or something with a less negative connotation would help
the situation.

Thanks,
John
