What you're saying doesn't happen in reality.  Volumes are restored when 
KMix is opened in reality, so it's not on session start: there are 
problems with that approach.  Plus the system is already saving volumes 
in a system-wide fashion.

What benefit do "per-user volume settings, active upon KMix start" bring 
to the table, versus the current system-wide volume setting implementation?
