Hi!
IMHO the "steeling focus" needs attention
Problem: 
a window pops up and steels focus and the user is typing someting in a window 
where he/she does not want to.

Suggestion:
steeling focus should be configurable
a) beep on/off/deiconify
b) delay in seconds until it accepts input
c) optionaly use kmails "new window arrived" technology, 
c1) define how long this window should remain: seconds/forever (if I am not 
working on the computer I'll never see this window)
c2) make it a dialog window to allow further actions ( "open filter dialog" if 
the user has to make decisions about the download of big messages)
