Is > this a good idea? good question and one that waldo and i discussed on IRC. neither of us is/was very comfortable about it. one set of those configs may indeed disappear in a future release, but it isn't a huge issue right now, i don't think. there really isn't much duplication in kcontrol right now, and the fact that you didn't notice it right away probably indicates it isn't the biggest issue facing kcontrol. thanks for reporting though. it just adds one more "someone noticed it" to my notes on this issue. =)) - -- Aaron J.
