Is this something that could be handled by animation? Although I'm yet to see 
what an animated icon actually does in KDE so I don't know if this is 
possible, but it would look quite nice if the K icon had something like the 
suggested "Launch" rotating around it, which could be switched off by 
disabling animations on Panel icons.
