Well, I have finally managed to read all the posts regarding the control
center after not reading the list for a week or so (hehe, that was fun), and
it sounds like things are shaping up pretty nicely wrt the organization
(excepting a couple minor points of contention among people).

After looking at the page noted above, I have just one fairly minor
suggestion:

How do people feel about changing "Peripherals" to "Peripheral Hardware"?

1. While "peripherals" does have a fairly well-defined meaning in this
context, it seems to me more people would understand "hardware".

2. The word "peripheral" would still be there, so people who are used to the
current situation would still be able to use the knowledge they already have;
no learning would be lost. It would also still sort to the same position.

3. I find that the word "hardware" stands out better when scanning the list
(probably because of [1]).

4. This would not change the meaning, but would provide more keywords, giving
people a better chance of finding what they seek.

This is just speculation on my part; I haven't done any studies on this. =)
