no. power users can handle multiple windows fine, but most users grapple with 
the imaginary z-axis. this is something i've had experience with in 
developing multi-window admin tools in a previous life: power users and manic 
admins LOOOOVE multiple window systems (i'm one of them ;-) but most users 
rapidly get lost with them and simply want to manage one item at a time.
