this would be more than excellent. while usability _surveys_ are rather 
limited in what they can offer (e.g. humans are remarkably poor at 
self-directed introspection w/regard to their day-to-day actions), they can 
be useful for certain things, such as determing the suitability and 
learnability of specific icons or menu structures.

so, colour us interested. did you have any detailed ideas as to what this 
survey would encompass/cover? if not, it i suppose that would be a great 
starting point. 

the data retreived from such a wide-ranging survey could indeed be invaluable.
