I discovered a "problem" today while reading a mail-newsletter and trying= to=20 click on an URL.... Let me cite the relevant part of the newsletter (KC KDE): job there. !hint! You can join the KOffice team (http://mail.kde.org/mail= man/ listinfo/koffice-devel) and get some of the fame /!hint! The nifty URL-highlighting-feature in KMail doesn't work here because of = the=20 newline character in the URL. I know, there shouldn't be newlines in URLs= -=20 but they appear in many mails. Since KMail hasn't really a chance here, I tried the second best thing,=20 highlighted the whole URL and klicked on "Open with Konqueror" in the=20 Klipper-popup. But the URL still didn't work because this newline got=20 "translated" into a whitespace.... Are there any reasons against automatically removing newlines after klick= ing=20 on "Open with..."? If not I will implement this... servus, Michael _______________________________________________ kde-usability mailing list kde-usability@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-usability
