I agree with this, but I think that this is for some users good.  Therefore it 
would be interesting that you can choose between a simple and a classic 
menu(standard simple).  This question can be asked in that application that 
starts only the first time you start kde ( I forgot it's name ) and you have 
to has the possibility to change later ( kcontrol ).  But that's my 
opinion...
