Hello Eugenia,
thank you for your suggestions.

The titlebar buttons in Keramik are actually larger than the
buttons you see in the KDE 3.0 default style, being 17x17
pixels compared to 14x14. I think the reason they appear
to be smaller in Keramik is an optical illusion, caused
in part by the large caption bubble but also by the
button shadows.

We could make them larger still, but not without some
difficulty because we unfortunately no longer have the
source images the buttons were created from.

Regarding point three, the window deco already has a
grabbar at the bottom of the window, although it's difficult
to make it out against the background on this screenshot.
The color used for the grabbar is nearly identical to the
color used for the window background in this color
scheme.

Point four, the caption bubble does grow and shrink as it
needs to. If you click the right border of a window, and
then slowly shrink it, the style will first remove parts
of the titlebar base until the minimize button nearly
touches the right edge of the caption bubble. The style
then starts shrinking the bubble, removing space on the
left and right sides of the icon and text, and then
eventually clips the text on the right side when it will
no longer fit inside the bubble.

You're right about the window borders not having a
consistant width across the sides of the window. The borders
have a darker inner line that's supposed to separate the
window contents from the window borders, but apparently
it's too bright for dark color schemes resulting in that
impression that the borders are wider than on the titlebar.
I actually hadn't noticed that before, but I'm going to
try to fix it by making those lines darker.

As for point 5, the windows don't have a an outline around
the whole window like you suggest, but they do have a
fake drop shadow on the right and bottom sides that are
intended to make it easier to see the window outline against
a bright background. I find that I personally almost always
grab the bottom-right corner of a window when I want to
resize it, so I'm hoping that those two lines are sufficiant
for the user to make out the borders. Doing it this way is
a bit of a compromise because we felt that the window
deco would lose some of its appeal if it had a black
outline around the whole window. It's possible that a
left-handed person prefers to resize a window by the
bottom-left corner though.

Also thanks for CC'ing me, as I'm not subscribed to
kde-usability. People have been hinting to me lately
that I should take a look at this list though =).

Regards,
Fredrik
