Personally I think KasBar is the most usable taskbar
we have, although it does have one or two issues
(mostly the config dialog is confusing, which is true
of many many KDE apps regardless). I reckon it, or
something similar, *should* be the default... the
large square icons are far simpler and bolder than the
long thin bars IMO.
