Some thoughts:

The idea is that you don't have to enter your e-mail settings over and over=
=20
again. Based on that idea, shouldn't the global mail setting be updated=20
whenever you enter it in kscd?

But what if you want to use another setting than the default one / don't wa=
nt=20
to change the default?

Apart from that I like your changes.
