Unfortunately the way to change the resolution is heavily distro 
specific. I believe XConfigurator is a redhat thing, and i dont think 
you want people to use xf86cfg :)

And i have yet to see any config utilities that integrates nicely with 
the gui. Suse tried, but i dont really like the result.
