I'm unsure.  Maybe you should ask KMail-Devel if we can't give you a 
satisfactory answer.  They should be the ones who work on the requirement 
specifications of their product.  That certainly doesn't bar us from helping 
them ensure that this is what users want. :)

It's very possible that as Usability in KDE takes off, we'll end up becoming 
the "customer contact group" for the KDE project, meaning that we'll end up 
working on more than usability... but that's a theoretical discussion topic 
that we can probably hold off on in favour of more productive activities.
