first off: is there any evidence that the word "Configure" is intimidating or 
do we simply expect it to be intimidating to users? i'd like to see some

so after you've done "setup" it should become "change"? that's no good for 
consistency ...

it also means that you have two words that mean the same thing: sometimes 
configuration is called "setup" and sometimes "change"...

in any case, i'm currently using the phrase "Modify these tasks" for task 
groups and "Configure this menu" for more traditional menus such as the 
recent docs menu...
