Wow, is this like that word, "XML"?

KDE uses Task-oriented XML technology in its menu!

It is essentially an abstraction overtop of a name of an application. This is
what I thought, but it is good to be "sure".

The end result will end up combining both an Application mentality and a Task
mentality, I'm sure. There are simply too many tasks that we can't flag
down.

Has anyone here personally tried a task-oriented menu by renaming the entries
on their KMenu?
