would it be possible to add a quick "what this does" to some of the more 
bizarre settings, as that would make it much more useful down the road? e.g.:

(Checkbox) Enable Desktop _Menu - shows the mac style menu bar

and from your listing:

Left Button (dropdown menu)
        -Custom Menu 1
        -Custom Menu 2 (wow, what do these do?)

answer: there are menu files (share/config/kdesktop_custom_menu[2]) that 
contain a custom menu .. the format of the menu is not well documented and 
you have to edit them by hand AFAIK ... the idea is to allow more traditional 
window manager type menus .. definitely would be a power user feature and 
cool if they had documentation and did submenus though
