Aaron,

After reading your post I got to looking over the kde-pim mailing list.  Damn, 
there is a LOT going on over there at the moment!  Looks like they may have 
already addressed a number of issues I was all ready to snipe at.

Over here in FreeBSD land the 3.0.1 packages are just about ready to go 
public.  Before a discussion of any depth were to be had concerning any of 
the modules of pim I'd personally like to get in front of me what changes 
have been put in place.

My primary concerns to this point revolve around Pilot integration.  For me, 
and many others I might imagine, there is just no seriously using these apps 
without it.  Last time I tried KPilot, under KDE 2.2.2, I lost data on both 
my Palm and my KDE address book.  Been pretty gun shy ever since.

In short, I'm on a holding pattern on the address book until after I get a 
working 3.0.1 sitting here to play with.  Maybe I'll get into beating up on 
Konq instead :)
