FYI: EDG supports GNU C++ extensions. So, any compiler based on EDG will 
support these as well.

SunStudio does not support GNU C++ (or GNU C).

The correct question might be rewritten as: "I'm left to wonder who supports 
the GNU C++ extensions correctly."
