Great work. It compiled and installed out of the box! As with the previous releases I installed KDE on top of the GNU- and GNOME tools and libraries installed in /usr/local and the XFree 4.3 libraries installed in /usr/local/X11. The multi media stuff (noatun), which was broken in 3.1.4, is again alive. The Qt version used is 3.2.3. Everything was compiled with gcc 3.3.2 Till now I encountered two problems: - the fist problem exists since KDE 2.2. Printing in Kwrite crashes with sementation violation. - the second is new in 3.2. Unlocking a locked desktop by supplying the right password fails. Maybe this is due to an incorrect installation. Could any one explain me what has changed in password verification? Our systems use PAM, NIS(yp) and /etc/shadow. -- Guenter ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde-solaris mailing list.
