I'm new to Solaris, KDE and Unix as a whole so
please bear with me here.
Can anyone tell me how stable KDE 3.x is running on a
x86 version of Solaris 8? So far I have been incredibly underwhelmed by
Sun CDE on Solaris, so I'd really like to make the jump to
KDE.
Are there good resources out there for downloading and
docs on installing pre-built packages of KDE 3.x on this platform? Can a
Unix neophyte install it without too much trouble?
