Hi all,

I seem to be having problems with screen unlocking on KDE 3.0.2, Solaris 8.
KDE is installed on a network path. Strangely, I have no problems, but two
of my users are finding that they can't unlock their screens and have to kill
the lock processes.

I got them to try kcheckpass from the command line, both failed:

whars0bx!clarkea% kcheckpass
ld.so.1: kcheckpass: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or
directory
Killed
whars0bx!clarkea% kcheckpath
kcheckpath: Command not found
whars0bx!clarkea% echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/vol/kde_3/sun4_5.8/lib:/vol/fsf.sol/sun4_5.8/lib

However the shared library does exist, in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, see:
gelberg@whars0cu - ~% ls /vol/fsf.sol/sun4_5.8/lib/libgcc_s.so.1
/vol/fsf.sol/sun4_5.8/lib/libgcc_s.so.1

Any ideas? I don't see this problem myself, which I have to say is odd.

Regards,

Tony
