It always annoyed me that the svn logs for really big commits, the
commits in most need of review, were truncated. It's 2010 now, I think
we can handle it.

Perhaps some sort of check that it isn't > megabyte due to error or
hundreds of SVG files wouldn't be a bad idea though.
