In this case, no. The commit was pushed to the internal repository first. It 
was mirrored by a bot from there to the public Gitorious.

So Gitorious does not have the information.

How do you find out now who pushed the commit?

That's exactly my point. The data could be collected and made readily 
available. It's not.
