Hi, 

I just finished uploading the first run of KDE 4.5 RC2 packages. current compile 
testing is still running, I wanted to share it already for others who are 
interested. 

Release is when we can get the announcement bits done/confirm compilation. 

Please let me know if they compile fine for you.
