Yes, Dirk, without that patch the microblogger plasmoid is pretty useless
(don't know about the other options, but it can't post to twitter.com).

Aaron, I have just compiled and packaged kdeplasma-addon with that patch. As
soon as I get home I will test if the widget is working now ;)
