I've only seen this problem once, and can't reproduce it, so I don't know what
caused your problem.

I don't use these, so don't know, but I'll see if I can find any way to deal
with that problem.

I did have to fiddle around a bit to find how to get every last bit of KDE text
to the size I wanted, but it's working correctly now. As far as I can
remember, the problem is that some of the sections use settings from Configure
KMail, and some things use font settings from SystemSettings >Appearance.
I've been away a couple of days, and I'm not yet tuned in, but if you don't
find it I'll try to help you.

Yes, that threw me at first :-) Near the filter panel you have a set of new
icons. The second from the left looks a bit like a newspaper page - that's
the Aggregation icon. Set it to Activity by Date, Threaded. Take a look,
while you're there, on the additional options under Configure, particularly the
tab Groups, Threads and Sorting

Thanks for you help, Anne. I've reported the two first issues in KDE's
bugzilla. The third one was already reported, I'm monitoring the bug.
This last, about threading, wasn't a bug at all, as you said :)
It was a relief to find out kmail still can thread correctly! :)

Thanks,

Marcelo

Hi - is it just me, or does pressing shortcuts such as "Ctrl+S" in kate ion
KDE 4.2 always brings up the message "The key sequence 'Ctrl+S' is
ambiguous. Use 'Configure Shortcuts' from the 'Settings' menu to solve the
ambiguity. No action will be triggered.'

This didn't happen before the Fedora 10 KDE 4.2 update. There are no obvious
ambiguities in the shortcut dialog, and other shortcut keys bring up the
same message.

Thanks

Jeremy

Those are old, I'm working on newer koffice-2.0-rc builds (including
langpacks).

Hiyall

After about a week of using 4.2.90. I should balance my rants with what I find \
positive. The folder view for the desktop is finally and wonderfully functional.

I can lay down plasmoids on top of it. There is a functional context menu (run \
command included). Moving over folders drills down folders. Context menu of files has \
the copy to and move to and open with and just about everything else that seems \
normal for kde in it.

Finally, My Desktop is a desktop again. Well done!!! :)
