I so dont migrate

By not migrating you prune out the folks who while still subscribed no longer
have an interest in what we say. And if they can't take the 30 secs needed to
subscribe to the new list then the choice is theirs.

What difference does it make, where the list is hosted(*)

I'm genuinely curious, because things should be open and transparent
enought that it doesn't. I'm open to the idea that perceptions may not
be close to reality here.

(*) Discounting the quality of such hosting, let's leave that out of the
discussion for now.

Yep I agree with Steven, don't migrate.

OK, that's enough of a veto confidence-vote for me. No it is.

Wow that was fast. I was going to suggest a procedure I've seen for
other lists: Migrate all people half-automatically, that is, add them
tentatively so they get a confirmation mail they have to react on. If
they choose to ignore that for any reason, they will not be
subscribed.

Ah, true. auto-subscribe vs auto-invite. Purely opt-in at that point.

OK, call me mr waffle, but I like that idea. I'll probably push the
"big red button"(tm) tomorrow. Apologies in advance for the invite-spam.

So far so good with kde-4.1.80. Had to also update akonadi.

1 problem so far. Akregator isn't showing articles. Just shows the web site
link for the site.

I'm testing this on a machine I don't normally use, so maybe there is some
other config issue (not related to 4.1.80).
