Thank you Claude, I installed the switchdesk & switchdesk-gui packages 
but you were right, once my password is entered the options show up. I 
was entering my password and hitting 'Enter' straight away and didn't 
notice them.

I'm assuming that the updates are in the works? :) Also there seemed to be a 
problem with digikam, koffice-suite and koffice-krita

Arg, our latest f9/kdegraphics builds missed the libkdcraw backports. 
ok, I just pushed a fresh set of pkgs to f9/unstable.  let me know if 
there's any other issues.
