Excellent :) I have a slight problem though :

Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/actions/kalarm.png conflicts between
attempted installs of kdeartwork-icons-crystalsvg-4.0.2-1.fc8.i386 and
kdepim-3.5.9-6.fc8.i386

Snip...

kdepim-3.5.9-6.fc8.i386 is in F8 updates I think, I can't see kdepim-3.5.9 in
the unstable repo.

Or perhaps I am a little quick off the mark?

Cheers

Colin

Nope, that's legit, fixed kdepim build going now.

Thanks. I went to another part of town and can see your sites. Still
can't see from home. ISP claims some net problem is blocking all
users here from a big piece of internet. I'm curious why I can get
here to email you, but not there.

A good excuse, and kick in my pants to update the yum mirrorlists on our
master kde-redhat repo server.

Now, there should be a few more mirrors listed, which will hopefully
provide at least 1 that works for you.

good point, hmm... but... the errors he posted implied yum has gotten
past the mirror-list fetching stage.

Ok, everything updated fine, first noticeable improvement is no Plasma crash
at start up :-)

Oops, those slipped into the repo, but shouldn't have. I'll remove them.

long story: new versions that break api/abi. Bad, mm-kay? :)
