Subject: [kde-redhat-users] Problem with kmenu
Message: 1

Hello,

I am running kde 3.5.7 from kde-redhat on Fedora Core 6.

I am trying to customize the kmenu but the changes I make with the kmenu
editor are not applied.
So far I have managed to move a folder containing the entries that I'd like to
edit but I cannot edit the entries themselves. These entries do not point to
KDE applications, I am not sure if this is relevant.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Hi.

Just a short some-how bug report: In /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc there are
many entries that are pointing to /builddir/.../ . Especially X is not
configured to be at /usr/bin/X.

This sounds really like mock, but I haven't tried to fix these.

Sebastian

Yep, those all suck. I tried fixing them by hand, but kdm still didn't
work.

kdm(4) NEEDSWORK, lots. :)
