Good news, the patch was integrated upstream in 3.5.7.
FYI, kde-3.5.7 is/has-been building for ~8 hours now, hopefully, it'll
be mostly done by morning. :)

Thanks! I was about to do the same (get the patch to work) when I saw
you response.
I'll give it a test run (against the -extras spec file) and see if it
works.

Just a heads-up, kde-3.5.7 will be leaking into the testing repos real
soon.
Warning, there are rough-edges(1), and missing packages, and the builds
are still ongoing.
For the record, since fc5 is so close to EOL, I don't plan on building
packages here. Besides, you really should be using F7. :)

That's interesting as all my mail is in my home/Mail directory (also a fresh
F7 livecd install) I don't have a .kde/share/apps/kmail/mail

Additional files would be the kmailrc files in .kde/share/config, I have done
this many times since FC1/2 with the only problem now on then was some of the
icons in the toolbar needed adding again.

Soon. It's being built/worked-on both here (kde-redhat) and in fedora's
buildsystem. I'd say by the end of the week.

Hello all,
Through the kde help system, no man pages are indexed nor can I create
the index via the gui.
Any ideas?

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] kdm language setting failed - fc6-kde-3.5.7
Message: 10
Hello,
I have asked this question already at the end of 2006. At that time it
was kde 3.5.5 and fc6, now it is 3.5.7 and fc6. I am wondering if
there is now a solution out? Admittedly this is not a dramatic bug.
Kdm isn't in my native language (german) any more. I am using "circles"
as a kdm theme. The last kdm version in what my german settings are
working well, was in kde 3.5.4.
This appears to be a little bit funny, because the german settings for
kdm are working well under fedora 7 and kde 3.5.6 but not under fc6
and kde 3.5.6. Seems to me that a computer must be more than the
amount of its component parts. ;-)
regards
Olaf
