Hi,

After upgrading to kde- 3.5.6, when I run k3b, it says the above as
mentioned in the subject line of this email. In the past, you would
usually run k3bsetup or k3bsetup2 to fix that problem .... but since
k3bsetup no longer exist, how do you fix it ?

John

Not exacrtly sure where to ask this, so I guess I try it out here
first as I am using kde-redhat with FC6.

I have just tried out multihead ( without xinerama ) on my laptop with
an external monitor attached. Everything is working, except that
sometimes, the popup message is being displayed on the other screen
from which the popup message was coming from. For example, if
konqueror was run from screen0, and konqueror displays a popup about a
cookie, the popup is displayed on screen1 instead of screen0.

It's not really a problem, just a bit annoying I guess.

In short, you don't. It's a mostly harmless warning, that you can
safely ignore.

In fact, on fedora using k3bsetup to give things setuid root can
actually make k3b perform *worse*.

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] Fedora-7-KDE-Live snapshots
Message: 4

FYI,

We'll be hosting periodic snapshots of the Fedora-7-KDE-Live cd at
http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/torrents/

This is so we can get out the latest/greatest of our current work, and
get more feedback.

I'm kinda new to this hosting-of-torrents thing, but hopefully things
should just-work. Enjoy.
