I'm getting an 'Authentication failure' when supplying a correct password to
unlock a session with the 3.5.6 build.

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] Login problem after upgrade - now OK
Message: 3

Hi: I'm new to this list but have been around on the atrpms and mythtv
lists for some time.

I got bitten by the 'can't login to kde' bug after my first upgrade
using kde-redhat this weekend, and my searches fixed on the 'secure' log
that contained pairs of entries like this:
> Jan 22 17:17:40 localhost -:0 : pam_unix(xdm:session): session opened for user mythtv by (uid=0)
> Jan 22 17:17:40 localhost -:0 : pam_unix(xdm:session): session closed for user mythtv

They didn't produce much help and I was _very_ glad to find the fix
(installing kdebase-kdm) in this archive; even better that it worked!

Thanks

John Pilkington
