Yes, only the mplayerplug-in-rm.so from mplayerplug-in package and
nphelix*. If nphelix* is working for you, I should reinstall this,
maybe here is something wrong with my installation.

Has anybody a working mplayerplug-in-rm.so?

Thanks

Hi, people

The kxdocker-resources packages in kde-all requires (obviously) kxdocker,
which is not found in any repository. Is it missing or is this some
misconfiguration in my system?

Thanks,

Marcelo

No misconfiguration. I orphaned kxdocker, and no longer maintain it.
Short story: upstream got a little whacky, and made about a buzillion
separate applets (instead of one main app), without making it clear
which bits were essential/optional.

So, since that is the case, I probably should remove kxdocker-resources
from the repo.

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] kdebase-kdm
Message: 4

I was about to push kdebase-3.5.5-1.5, kdelibs-3.5.5-1.5 to the testing
repo, but I thought I'd better mention the changes first:

* kdm is now in it's own (sub)pkg: kdebase-kdm
* use XDG_MENU_PREFIX (in favor of XDG_MENU_DIRS)

kdebase-kdm is the biggest change, so if you're currently using kdm, and
simply do a
$ yum update
you'll end up with a system that no longer has kdm, you need to also:
$ yum install kdebase-kdm

Now, like I said, these haven't been pushed to the repos yet, pending
feedback. In particular, on one hand, I see how useful it is to package
kdm bits separately, but on the other hand, it breaks upgrades for
existing users of kdm.  Thoughts?

OK, silence is golden. (: I just go ahead an push this out as an
update. I'll kindly cleanup the aftermath if we hear any widespread
screams of anguish.

Enjoy.

It really is lets try it out and see. I can see both pluses and minuses and an
awful lot of first time kde-redhat users asking where the heck is kdm. But on
the other hand, problems with kdm can be more easily addressed.

Eli
