Rex:
First of all, thanks for you information and your help. Hope it will solve my \
problem, by the way, i'm suffering the update-kde-on-RH9-stuff for almost three \
weeks.I'm extremely exhausted. And I also have something to confirm from you, Rex.

Does that mean, these resources on \
"http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/redhat/9/i386/stable" are still available \
and suitable for RH9?And I can use it to update the kde on my old-fashioned RH9?
2.In your reply, you said that:

that's a setup for yum-2.1 and newer only.

Does that mean that I should install a newer version of yum? Or just use my yum \
2.0.4 and add the stuff (which should be added into yum.repos.d) in the yum.conf.( of \
course as you said that \
"mirrorlist=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/redhat/mirrors-stable" should be \
replaced by baseurl=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/redhat/9/i386/stable )

3.Is it ture that I can update by just typing in the command line with
"yum update"?(because ,as you know, I already have installed Qt 3.1 and kde 3.1 in \
my RedHat9).
4.If the update run successfully, can I also get a newer version kdevelop?Or I have \
to download it by myself after the update of kde?
  Thank you very much.
                                                                                      \
Luffy
