Is there anything that you can do about it, or anyone else?

Break out some pointy clue-sticks and threaten to use them if folks
don't fix their sh?@#@t?  (:

here's another problem -- kdenetwork in the CentOS 4.3 kde-redhat
depends on libiw.so.28. That is not a CentOS 4.3 package,
it's CentOS 4.4. The proper version appears to be libiw.so.27.

Sorry 'bout that. We simply maintain the symlinks for backward
compatibility. Fact is, we pretty much only build-against/support the
latest CentOS release, which is currently CentOS 4.4.

First off, we don't support rh9 anymore, but the packages for the
relatively recent release still exist.

that's a setup for yum-2.1 and newer only.

baseurl=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/redhat/9/i386/stable

should(?) work (better).

I started rebuilding from SRPMS. A bloody pain in the butt.
