Hi, I have similar problem as was here discussed. I am using KDE,
upgraded to 3.5.5, then I have added a kde-redhat repo and after yum
update I got those errors:

Error: Missing Dependency: kde-filesystem is needed by package kdebase
Error: Missing Dependency: kde-filesystem is needed by package kdelibs

If I tried to install that package it was not found.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michal

My guess would be that you haven't configured/enabled the kde-all repo.

Rob

Subject: [kde-redhat-users] Lost KDE file dialog in OpenOffice
Message: 3

Hi,

I have lost the KDE open file dialog in OpenOffice. I noticed that after
removing kdebase.i386 and its dependencies and enabling the stable kde-redhat
repository.

After noticing this, I removed kde.repo, uninstall kde and reinstalled KDE
from the core packages. As far I know I now have a standard KDE installation
(with both i386 and x86_64 binaries). Still no KDE open file dialog in
OpenOffice.

I re-installed OpenIffice, still no KDE open file dialog.

Does anybody know of a way to tell OpenOffice to use the KDE file dialog? Am I
missing a package there?

Thanks for any hint,

JP
