Dear All

Since some time ago, when I start Acrobat Reader, I do not see the
icon jumping before the window of Acrobat Reader shows up. How can I
have the icon jumping again?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I don't recall ever seeing any icon jumping when using Acrobat reader.
Can you describe when you're seeing (or saw), and what version of
acrobat you're using?

Hmm, perhaps Paul means the "launch feedback" ?
This is customisable per application, assuming that the Launch feedback works
OK with other Apps..

The same small icon which appears for Acrobat Reader on taskbar was
seen jumping over the mouse pointer on screen while waiting for
Acrobat Reader loading. A similar jumping behaviour is seen with kpdf
and all other applications.

That is correct, Colin. But how can I configure 'Launch feedback' for
Acrobat Reader?

Assuming the Icon is on your Desktop:
Right Click on the Icon > Properties > Application > Advanced Properties,
Enable Launch feedback.
You can set it from Kmenu as well..

I find these options shown in advanced Properties very handy, like "open in
terminal" handy for some custom scripts I use :)

Cheers

Thanks a lot, Colin. The Acrobat Reader icon is jumping again!

My situation is a single monitor driven by a Radeon 7500. I've
ordered a second 7500, and I'll report how it turns out. Odd about
the desktops, but I suppose I can tolerate that.

Hi,

Any of you have aMule and gtk-qt-engine working together? Here, aMule quits
when clicking the "Transfers" button (to see the file transfer view).
