Subject: [kde-redhat-users] FC5: gtk-qt-engine update
Message: 1

Updating to get-qt-engine-0.70-1 went wrong.
Now I have two entries in KDE control center/appearances and none of them let
me switch from default option 'use KDE style' to 'use another style'.
Any such alteration is not being adopted.
It seems as if the two entires are working against each other.
De-installing and re-installing the gtk-qt-engine did not help.

With 'use KDE style' option the scrollbar buttons are still being displayed
wrongly: in such as the left margin of scrollbar button lags behing when
scrolling up/down.
This has already been the case with the 0.6x version.

Rex & Thomas,

I was finally able to exclude the deep repeating yum
directories by adding a line to the exclude file for
KDE RedHat like this: *yum/*

For rsync options, I am using this (with a separate
exclude file):

-arqzH

Should I be using something different?

Thanks,

Rick

I have the engine in double as well. In Firefox, I have not noticed any
problems with the tabs.

I am wondering what this engine does, as without it, Firefox already had the
kde colours anyway. I have chosen 'desert red' as my colour scheme. Perhaps
it just happens to harmonize? Or is the gtk-qt-engine redundant?
