Yes, I do. I noticed the explicit reference to nspluginviewer
in .xsession-errors.

PS: As I explain in another thread I don't know if the cause is the same and
now I don't have the time to test it.

Hi all,
I though about hijacking the previous thread but I have decided to be a good
netizen. ;-)

I have been having lots of crashes lately in FC4. FWIW I have stable,
testing and unstable repositories activated.

I have the problem where OO sometimes disappears (crashes) without any
warning. According to some of my friends this seems to be an *Office*
feature. ;-)

This behaviour occurs also with mozilla, konqueror and kontact. I think that
even once lyx failled without notice.

Not only that but I have been experiencing crashes with kicker (not only on
exit), kwin and kdesktop. Well some of the above are directly related with
moving windows around, resizing, drag and drop. If I let the computer running
and I don't work in it, this does not occurs, yet clearly this is not the
solution. ;-)

Now why am I no too worried?

  1) I have been using dante, and I have to hijack the loader order. I have to
use it here to have network access. This can be one of the causes.

  2) I have a deadline soon and I don't have time to do a full diagnosis of
the problems. I don't know what part is responsible for this. Also I have
learned to deal with the outcome, I don't loose any data, and it can be
calming have to call kdesktop manually because the background turned black or
to call kwin directly because the windows lost all its border, and they show
superimposed over each other.

I will be in Dublin until the begin of December, and until then I don't have
the time to sort this out.

Please Rex, don't loose your time with this. I don't see any difference with
the latest releases of the packages. Due to the very specialized nature of
the bugs I suspect of a simple cause.

I am reporting this in case someone else has this problems to know that
(s)he is in good company. ;-)

Other than this small grains of salt that give taste to live the system is
better than never. I mean it without any irony, it has been a joy working
with the packages from kde-redhat, livna or extras. Thanks for your hard
work.
