SuSE is behind too. Over here in Germany most of the people (that are not 
hackers and don't have a fast internet connection) use SuSE due to their 
installation support and the masses of software they provide. 
The same experience I have from answering questions at KDE booth at (german) 
linux expos - most questions are about KDE on SuSE.
