hi there,

after finally getting wintv to run yesturday, today was time for qt23.mp3.

having wintv silently showing the news, noatun was playing "i can see clearly 
now". seeing multimedia playing on my desktop sent a shiver of exitement down 
my spine. 

what, if this soundtrack would be the backround-song for a tv add (payed by 
ibm :-) announcing kde 2.1 with qt-2.3 and xfree 4.0.2 showing bright 
little girls of various neighbourhoods (rich, middle class, poor) using all 
the apps of koffice for learning on a anti-aliased and sub-pixel rendered 
kde2 laptop, desktop, embedded device.

this might show that it is easy to use, a good deal and flexible.

since comparing adds are allowed in the us and in the eu, it might even show 
some less bright boys with bluescreens in front of them. 
(showing the freedom of choice)

i chose "girls" since they are a lot less involved in development of kde (is 
that right?) and, at least in the german language environment, are supposed 
to have less affinity to computers (and therefore might push a "even girls 
choose kde2 over windows")

am i completly crazy, or is kde2 ready for that. (please comment)

p.s my music-nerd wife meant Finn Aasheim is singing bloody well. thanks for 
the fantastic software and content.
