Hello AJ,

I'm Paul Brown and I am on the Promo team. We are trying to ramp up the
interest of journalists and publications in the announcements we make. If we
are successful, we hope to see an increase in the number of enquiries made to
the addresses included in the web pages of the announcements themselves, pages
like this one:

https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.13.2.php

You are listed as one of the contacts on that page and others. However, we are
not sure whether your details are current, or even whether you still want your
personal details (which include your phone number and physical address) on web
pages that, hopefully, will be receiving many more views.

Members of the Promo team are subscribed to the mailing KDE PR mailing list,
so, in any case, enquiries will not go unattended.

If you do want to continue fielding emails from journalists, I would like to
invite you to become a member of the Promo group. We have an IRC channel at
(irc://chat.freenode.net/kde-promo), a Telegram group (https://t.me/joinchat/
AEyx-0O8HKmfJ50MByM4kg) and the mailing list (https://mail.kde.org/mailman/
listinfo/kde-promo). We also have a Phabricator workboard where we post tasks
and who should solve them: https://phabricator.kde.org/tag/kde_promo/.

As policies and workflows have changed, it would be good to have you on the
team so we could all work together and have your input.

Kindest Regards

Paul
