You guys don't really know me but I've used KDE since the 3.x days, worked
the KDE booth at SCALE and submitted an article for the KDE e.V.
quarterly report.
So I'm not just some guy off the street...

Please date things. Just do it. Doesn't have to be at the top but somewhere
would be appreciated.

I often read an article and think "When did this happen?" and can't find a
date.

Thank you and regards,

-- Wayne

> > Ok, I got confused. What Google returns as a first result for 4.0 \

> > this: <a href="http://www.kde.org/announcements/visualguide-4.0-alpha1.php" \

which
> > is the visual guide, that has no link to the original \

However - latest
> > announcement - <a \

> > So when someone will be searching for those announcements, there's \
no
> > indication of "when" this was released. And given it will \
be returned
> > quite
> > high in search results, I still think it would be good to have the date
> > there somewhere.
>
> Is that really so much of an issue? I mean, you specifically searched for an
> old version, it's not like the information is misleading, or that people
> will be confused easily. It sounds a bit like overthinking it, to me.

It is not about confusion, is it about finding the data where you expect \
Now let me ask you, is it really so much of an issue to add a single line with
the date?
Cheers,
